College Prep Camp

Date: July 25th - 26th, 2020

 

 

Objectives

 

Our College Prep Camp is designed for rising 8th-12th graders with aspirations of playing collegiate soccer (DI, DII, or DII). The FAU women’s soccer staff develops training sessions to enhance and develop technical skills and tactical awareness. Additional areas of emphasis include speed & agility training, nutrition, and academic preparation. Goalkeeper specific training is also offered. This camp is intended to provide high quality training from an elite program, teach campers about the demands of collegiate soccer, and give an on-campus view of the Florida Atlantic University women’s soccer program.

 

 

 

Safety Information

 

We will provide water and Gatorade at the fields. An athletic trainer will be on hand at all times and staying in the dorms overnight. We will have adult camp counselors staying in the dorms as well in addition to two adult Dorm Supervisors.

 

 

Transportation

 

For campers flying into Fort Lauderdale (FLL) or West Palm Beach (PBI), we offer a shuttle either for pick up ($25), drop off ($25), or round trip ($50). Please contact Patrick Baker at Bakerp@fau.edu for more information.
